We had a good work day today! Mary Creed Davis and her sister Linda Creed Turman arrived early and cleaned the benches along with their family tombstones. Jimmy Cornett cleaned up many of his Anderson ancestor headstones while his wife placed flowers on family graves. Andy Anderson Jimmy and I re-installed Angeline Cornett’s foot stone. Andy and I leveled Charlie Cornett’s marker, filled in several low spots and cleaned some of the foliage from Rachel Cornett’s new head stone. Later in the day James Hackler and his wife Mary stopped by to place flowers on Mary’s parent’s graves (Lester and Clara Anderson). Others came in and out decorating various graves and taking in the spectacular view from Central. It was a good day with ideal weather – overcast and breezy. A lot of great work has happened this week in anticipation of the “Big Day” on Sunday. Hope to see everyone at the Decoration!
